If there's a job to be done in the country, Suzanne Brandyn has done it. From mustering stock in the heat of cattle-country, spotlighting for foxes, shooting a rifle, and navigating through the red dust of the outback. Her love of our diverse land, feisty heroines, and the all-important meeting of Mr Right has been delighting readers for years.

Romantic Suspense, Rural Romance

After the death of Amber's fiancé, Brad, she moves from the small town of Emira to Wood Creek, to her father's cattle property on the northern tablelands of New South Wales. Two years later he passes away and she inherits the property.

Wade Saunders, a man she once loved turns up on her doorstep and her first instinct is to slap him on the face. He disappeared from her life twelve years ago and she thinks he's responsible for Brad's death.
When her property is broken into and when cattle go missing, there is much more at stake than material possessions.

Wade's had his share of problems but he needs to explain what happened the night of Brad's death, and the reason why he left the area.

Can this couple reconcile, or has enough damage been done to keep them apart forever?

Not your normal love story

Love this story! It’s not your normal read, this story if full of excitement and some suspense. I laughed and cried the entire way through. Ms. Brandyn doesn’t give anything away. The story unfolds and the secrets are found with each turn of the page. And you really don’t have a complete understanding of everything until the end. It’s just wonderful.

A love story with a nice twist is fun! Great job Suzanne! Look forward to more.

The family focus of this story was great to read with the main character Emma's return home showing an obvious love for her father and an eagerness to help her brothers. The mystery behind the new neighbour and the unwanted attraction to him was great to read about, especially as Emma and Will learn a little more about each other's background - and what they have in common. An enjoyable read with a focus on the Australian outback, some mystery and romance combined.

Romantic Suspense, Rural Romance

When Madison Barnett visits her family's gravesite at Willows Bend, she didn't expect to find the property sold or to be a suspect in multiple murder cases, including her family's.

The new owner, Trenton Jackson, refuses to sell but Madison is determined the property will be hers. With the local sergeant accusing her of the crime and detectives asking questions, it's up to her to prove her innocence.

Trent is surprised that a woman has turned up at Jacksonville and even though they've had their differences, he finds he's falling for her. With the recent murders and Madison's persistence, he gives in, not only to keep her off his back but so he can keep a close eye on her.

Willows Bend is another fantastic book by Suzanne Brandyn. I love the characters and the way Suzanne Brandyn portrayed them and how they interact with each other throughout this book. The description of the settings allowed me to imagine living in Gimilla. Willows Bend engaged me from the start, and I had trouble putting the book down.
