My husband and I live in Central Victoria and we have five sons and five grandsons, as well as six step-grandkids. When my youngest son started school I started an Art and Design course at TAFE, followed by a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing, and when he graduated from high school I graduated from university! Since then I've been both writing and editing and even the art studies have proven useful since I create most of my own covers. And no, I'm not suggesting you need 12 years of education to write books--I just enjoyed it. I co-authored some books for a publisher in the USA and the rest are self-published on Amazon, as both ebooks and, in most cases, PODs.
