I was born in Townsville, Australia to an Egyptian mother and an English father, and whilst growing up I was inspired by my grandmother fondly known as YaYa's stories about supernatural experience which left me enchanted, excited and in awe (sometimes scared too) of the of the unexplained happenings. Oh and don't get me started on YaYa's amazing cooking, she was also a very talented women and my role model who inspired me to be the best that I can be.

However, I wouldn't be who I am today without the wonderful support and encouragement from my husband Wayne.

Reflecting on my life so far, I must say that my greatest accomplishments would have to be my three beautiful daughters Laetitia, Kaela, and Sian, all are incredible individuals and I am proud to be their Mother.

The best part about being a prent is becoming a grandparent and to date, I have been blessed with 5 amazing grandchildren all who melts my heart when they call me "Nanny".

I love drawing inspiration from my children and grandchildren and enjoy the art of storytelling, which has inevitabgly led me to this path of becoming a children's author.
