I adore dogs of every size, breed, and personality—from playful pups to timid souls. Though I cherish many animals, dogs have been my lifelong passion. My family began rescuing them when I was six: a greyhound spared from euthanasia in the 1970s, and an exhausted corgi who collapsed outside our Mornington Peninsula home and became my short-lived companion until old age claimed him.
