Robert Blain was born in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Australia with his family, aged three. He grew up and was educated in Melbourne and divides his adult life between Australia and Hong Kong, where has worked on various international trade magazines as an editor. He has written, and continues to write, works of fiction and plans to become a full-time novelist in the near future. When he isn't writing, Robert can be found on the wonderful hiking trails around Hong Kong or Melbourne, playing music with his band, or trying to coax the once-mighty Essendon football team back into premiership contention.
