Sheila Hunter lived in Avoca Beach NSW and was a well known person in the area. Sadly she died in 2002 with out seeing or even knowing her books would be published.
Sheila was always a great Story teller. Whiling away many hours while travelling, telling stories to the family. After much encouragement she wrote some of them down.
Sadly she only wrote the three Historical novels, and was part way through a 4th when she became ill. She also wrote 4 Environmental Fairy stories, a children Aboriginal medicine story and a 3 volume Autobiography – again not finished. I am still finding many partly finished stories…
