Tony Carter is a retired teacher, who spent ten years working internationally, including England, Oman and Colombia where he developed a passion for travel, photography, climbing mountains and languages. Tony considers himself as an immersion traveller with passion for black and white photography and writing which sees him seeking out the smaller details in the small alleys away from the norm. Currently he lives with his wife, Lucia on the Gold Coast, Australia and in retirement dedicates himself to charity work in Sailing, Horse Riding for the Disabled, and Veterans Cricket (who some might classify as another charity, but others not), where he has gained a reputation of being a Wordsworth of the Wicket for his match reports. This is his first novel effort - a compilation of short stories based on his recent travels, observations and experiences in South America.
